The formation of SSSC came with the introduction of the Women’s Soccer League in Winnipeg. Originally knows as the Sweat Shack “Shakers” then the Sweat Shack “Spirit”, the club has become one of the most recognizable names in Women’s soccer in Canada and the only team remaining from the inception of the league.
SSSC now consists of two Women’s teams and have affiliation with the Bonivital Flames.
